Rules
This is the official Minecraft server of the Lost Tribe community. It is open to members of the Lost Tribe Discord, moderated, and meant to be a safe, fun home for everyone, including younger players. Playing here means agreeing to these rules.
The rules
- Absolutely no hate. Antisemitism, hate speech, slurs, Holocaust denial, Holocaust "jokes" or minimization, Nazi imagery, swastikas, extremist symbols, or extremist roleplay result in immediate removal. There are no warnings for this. This is a Jewish community server and this line is not negotiable.
- Be kind. No harassment, bullying, threats, or targeting other players, whether in chat, in builds, on signs, in books, or on Discord.
- Keep it family-friendly. No sexual content, innuendo directed at others, or graphic violence in chat or builds. People of all ages play here.
- Protect privacy, yours and others'. Never share anyone's personal information: real name, school, address, photos, social accounts. That includes your own. No doxxing, ever.
- Don't grief or steal. Don't break, alter, or take what isn't yours, even outside claims, even "as a joke." Everything is logged and can be rolled back, and it will be.
- No cheating. No hacked clients, x-ray (mods, resource packs, or exploits), duplication glitches, or unfair advantages. No getting around a ban with another account.
- No spam or impersonation. Don't flood chat, advertise, or pretend to be staff.
- Listen to staff. If a staff member asks you to stop, stop. If you think they are wrong, use the appeal process instead of arguing in chat.
On Discord
The same rules apply on the Lost Tribe Discord. In-game chat is mirrored to #minecraft and Discord messages appear in game, so everything you say in one place is visible in the other.
Privacy & logging
- Chat, private messages, and block activity are logged so staff can investigate reports and undo damage.
- Staff will never ask for your password or personal information.
- Younger players: keep personal details out of chat, and let a parent or guardian know where you play. There is a page just for them.
If a rule is broken
Staff handle problems privately. Depending on how serious it is and whether it has happened before, the response can be a reminder, a warning, a temporary mute, a kick, a temporary ban, or a permanent ban. Hate and anything that puts a young player at risk always mean immediate removal. Damage is rolled back. Bans are shared: a ban from the Discord is a ban from the server, and the other way around.
Reporting someone is always the right thing to do. You will never get in trouble for a report made in good faith. See getting help.
Appeals
If you think a punishment was a mistake, message an admin on Discord. A different staff member from the one who issued it reviews the appeal. If it was wrong, it is reversed with an apology.
